Explore The Mun Contract Help

Recommended Posts

I've been doing okay so far in my current Career mode, I'm able to do a lot of the contracts, and kinda understanding the whole signal stuff, however I've been doing the Explore the Mun contracts, and I've hit a snag.

My current contracts asks me to perform two tasks. Go on an orbital spacewalk near the mun. That's not too hard I don't think. However the second part is a bit more concerning. It wants me to transfer any crew between vessels near the mun. I'm not sure if it wants me to simply move a kerbal from one area to another on the same ship, (I suppose I could bring up an empty pod, detach it and hop in it, if that would work) or two completely separate ships launched at different times. I imagine the latter would be a lot more difficult. Any tips or suggestions would be appreciated.

its asking you to move a kerbal from a craft, to an entirely different craft.  and im pretty sure they need to be launched seperatly, as i know the rendezvous subcontracts has to be done from ships launched seperarely.

it doesnt have to be while docked, you just need to bring another ship close enough and eva over to the other ship.

You could also wait until you have a rescue mission in mun orbit.

Probably the best approach.

I had a similar contract and did that a few days ago. Mission accomplished!
