Unconsiousness settings?!

I keep seeing things that kerbals can now go unconscious from gforces and what not. I heard that there is a setting somewhere to turn this on. Where is this setting or how do I turn this feature on? I cannot find anything on it but mild refrences. Non of which help me understand where or what it is.

I'm not 100% sure, but I think it's under advanced settings when you start a new save. "Enable Kerbal G-force Limits" or something like that.

Is there any way to turn this on in an old save predating the version it was added?

im not infront of my pc to check, but you should be able to change difficulty settings.  it was either under the standard escape key menu or the f12 debug menu, i cant remember which.

when i get to my pc later ill double check exactly where it is

Yep. It was under difficulty settings in the esc menu. I always forget that menu is there.

"Difficulty Options: ..." in the setting menu is actually a button. Click that, then go Advanced, the G-limit options are there.
