Reload certain files

Just a quick question:
it's about the following threat:

I would be very happy if it's possible when editing configs, models, textures etc, to reload those specific files and test them without rebooting KSP or to reload all the files with F-12 etc..
Just for the same reason as the linked threat: it saves a lot of time and when you've installed a mod pack etc. that is a dependence of the file you're editing, the reload all can cause some errors.
I know back then it wasn't possible, but does anyone know here if it's possible now? And if not, usefull tips you guys use? For now I've a extra install for testing with everything on it's lowest so it runs quite fast, but still, if you could reload just a single or few files a time, it would save so much time
