Using MK1 tanks for NERVs

My God... I am a little bit overwhelmed... lots of replies. There are usefull tips here and there... Thanks. I'll try a Moho landing and back ASAP (work, girlfriend moved home, drum lessons, biking...) and I will tell you how it went. I might do it in two steps, BTW, "The martian" style, sending the convertotrons there first to get the fuel for the comeback of the comeback mission. Might be fun.

Thats what i did for my DER designs, let the LFO stage kick it to kerbol orbit where the LV-N's could do the real heavy lifting efficiently.

Guys, I've made it! To Moho and back... From KLO to Moho with chemical propelent (I know it's highly innefficient, but a long burn with nukes made me miss Moho's small SoI in many attempts...), adjustments, "slowing down" and orbit with Nukes, landing with a (of course, lander), and comeback with an Ion propelled probe... I will post more info about the mission in a sepparate thread. Thanks for the help! Now... Eve!
