Aurora Kerbialia?

I didn\'t know we had auroras. We do, at least a southern one. Northern Glory didn\'t see one, but Southern Expedition did.

I don\'t know if that\'s meant as an aurora, but it sure looks cool.

It would be awesome if Squad could add occasional and spectacular aurora events to the northern and southern hemispheres of Kerbin.

I do not believe that constitutes an aurora.

I have seen that happen many times, and I believe it is the result of the way the sunlight acts on the horizon (a twilight). Auroras in reality are caused by the solar wind charging atmospheric particles near the poles. In KSP, your picture occurs on all places on Kerbin.

As a side note, the aurora would not be called kerbialia. Borealis refers to north, so that would still be valid as is \'Aurora borealis'

Which would make sense except this is at the south pole.
