Want realistic rings around the next planet?

Dusty926

Would you like realistic rings around the next planet?

  1. 1. Would you like realistic rings around the next planet?

    • Yes.
    • I can live with it.
    • I guess but I would prefer not.
    • No.
    • I don't really care, that much, 'cause you know. I'm cool like that.

So what I mean is: I would like the next planet to have rings that are made up of space rocks/asteroids once you get close enough. Take

as an example. Yeah I don\'t really have much to say. So, [insert poll question here]

EDIT: If you could, I would also like you to post a reply. I would like to see how you see things, in more depth.

I think trying to navigate the Kerbonaut(s) and his/their ship through debris of small ice and rock particles would make an interesting and exciting challenge. Maybe being able to land on large rock debris could be another idea along with the rings. It would also make the planet look beautiful from a distance too! :) ??????? ??????? ????!

'??????? ??????? ????' Actually means 'Great comrade idea'.

With English grammar, which is why I thought it meant 'Great comrade [someone]', but it makes more sense the way Dimitri explained it.

It would be impossible to render so many objects at once. I have extreme lag at my mün base for example.

I don\'t think rendering is the issue here, but rather simulating the physics for so many objects at once. On rails rings would not be a problem in this regard.

Well, great comrade idea then!
