I really feel guilty for asking, I know the devs are busy, but I am certain a lot of mod makers want to know when we can add ladders, EVA capabilities, and custom interiors to our craft. wildkittyv1 Posted August 4, 2012 Share Posted August 4, 2012 While it's not exactly what you want, you can do a .cfg edit of DYJ's crewtank to make it fit under the 1m pod and house as many Kerbonauts as you'd like. I did a bit of terrible math and came up with a version that functions pretty much exactly like the DYJ part, only it's a 1m part and has room for 2 Kerbals. I did my best rebalancing the weight, fuel load, and things like that, but I didn't take into account cylindrical volumes or anything like that, and it looks pretty ridiculous as the hatch is probably not even large enough for a Kerbal to get their helmet through.I would attach the part.cfg, but the new vB boards are really restrictive in many areas and I can't get the file to attach. If you want the info, just reply saying you do and I'll post it in here. The only issue with it is that you need to have someone in the command pod it's linked to in order to exit the hatch, but I believe this is a DYJ crewtank issue as well, so it's functionally the same, just smaller.
