stages not configuring correct ?

I\'m sure i\'m doing something wrong.

whenever i try to set up a multistage rocket, the game ads all the fuel tanks and engines to the seccond stage below the CM.

I am aware that i can rearange them manually, but its pretty tough to click and drag every single part you add to the correct stage.

Isnt there an \'auto arange stages\' button that i\'ve missed or something?

example:

if i ad a stack decouple under the CM and then a solid fuel booster it aranges correct. If i then ad another decoupler and fx tanks and engines below it, it still goes into the same stage resulting in all eninges burning at the same time. Isn\'t it supposed to arrange automaticly (to some degree) if you ad decouplers?

hope you guyd can help me :)

It shouldn't matter where you fuel tanks are in the staging list so you could just leave them where they are placed. As for the engines, the staging usually works where if you add a decoupler it will create a new stage and anything below that decoupler will be in-putted into that stage. If you add anything using radial decouplers it usually depends on how high up you have placed them in terms of the staging.

Most of the time you will just have to arrange the stages manually to get them the way you would like.

Hope this helped.

There's a RESET button at the bottom of the stack view thingy. I generally find that it does a good job of fixing things. I typically then bump up the decouplers into the next stage so that the decoupling and next engines start at the same time.
