I know texture replacer can change suits, remove helmets, but is there a texture replacer add-on that makes the helmet collar transparent and makes the kerbals in ordinary clothes? I'm making a story and it looks odd to wear spacesuits on Kerbin.

AFAIK no because that's baked into the model and no one's been able to change models

I may be wrong, but I thought v1 added the ability to modify/replace the meshes of kerbals and even buildings. I think the people who know most about that have either moved on from the community or haven't had time to do anything about it yet though
