Crash on startup after like 3/4 of loading

KSP: 1.3 Windows 10 64bit

Problem: When starting up the game, after it is loaded for like 75% there is a random crash

Are all of those .zips installed?  If so you have some mods installed that are not updated for 1.3, specifically the Near Future mods.  These will not work with 1.3 and will crash your game during loading.  Make sure to check all mod version compatibility and remove any that are not updated for 1.3.

I was having a similar problem, crash on about 75% loaded, no proper reason it seemed 

I went through a chunk of mods at a time (got over a hundred here) - and the culprit turned out was AviationLights, which I can only guess was wrongly updated by CKAN to a state which was incompatible with 1.2.2

 

don't know if that's your problem - but the symptoms are much alike

I figured out that the Near future mods were causing this problem. Sad enough I use it a lot in my career so I need to wait until its updated
