B-52 Kerbalfortress [UPDATED 0.16 STOCK]

Hello fellow pilots,

By popular demand, I have updated my B-52 Kerbalfortress for v0.16. I edited the original thread to reflect this, but unfortunately you cannot edit thread titles on this new forum. Original Post.

0.16 stats:

Cruise Altitude: 13,000m

Cruise Speed: 580 m/s

Range: 500 - 550 km

Armament: 4 heavy bombs

Glide range from cruise altitude: ~50km

Part count reduced to 247 (from 346 on previous version)

Flight instructions:

- set precision controls

- full throttle

- hold brake ( until fully spooled

- use yaw to keep straight on runway, pitch up at end

- set pitch trim to +3 notches above centre

- external tanks will drain first, then use manual fuel flow control to maintain centre of gravity

- never disable flow from an external tank, due to fuel glitches it will not resume when re-enabled

- after reaching 12,000m increase pitch trim to +5 notches

Yes! Great work you did there with the stock-parts. I just realised it yesterday that the 0.15-version wont work anymore

I didnt heed it much notice when the craft-file read [0.15], but it appears you accidently really uploaded the 0.15-version again. Or atleast thats what my KSP is telling me.

Ill be waiting eagerly for the 0.16-version

Tried tinkering with the URL (Since not all of your posted URL is included by the Forumsystem) but even that didnt work.

I could, but I'm a big proponent of stock craft so everyone can easily use them. I'll leave it up to any downloaders of it to add their own mods.

I wish my Computer was better I want to fly this so bad, i figured my GTX 580 Graphics card could play this game with no hassle, but damn i guess not! i lag a ton when trying to use this and large crafts like space stations.

Could be your processor that's slowing you down. Also love the plane though it is a bit hard to turn.
