Crowd Sourcing of Most Important Features to Fix/Develop

Fellow Kerbalnauts,

KSP is in alpha, and that means bugs and glitches. It also means that things can get changed and fixed very quickly. I thought it might be interesting to start a thread where people can contribute what they think the most pressing concerns are currently, as well as what features they think should be implemented first. Let's have everyone post with their top one or two choices, and I'll create a poll once I have enough suggestions. The devs get a lot of mixed feedback through all the different forums, maybe a more organized approach will be more helpful.

My top two:

- decouplers underpowered (discarded pieces hitting ship during staging)

- phantom forces during flight and loading saves (a ship that was fine when saved will fall apart when loaded)

This, I am afraid, is not as good an idea as it first appears to be.

Only the devs can prioritise bug-fixes. Only they know which areas of code are going to be thrown out or heavily re-written, so only they know which bugs are liable to get thrown out! Given that KSP is at alpha stage, a considerable amount of what we have is going to get thrown out!

It is true that bugs do get reported in many places, but there are only two places they pay any significant attention to - Development -> Bug Reports and the Volunteer Testing forum which most people don't get to see. The volunteer testers actively read other places and try to reproduce bugs, and if can then they report them as appropriate.

And finally, the bug-reporting system is due to change - more on that when it is officially announced.

This thread is quite old. Please consider starting a new thread rather than reviving this one.
