Cheap large probe cores

Something cheap with very basic functions fitting into a 1..25 and 2.5 stack types (different parts obviously) for unmanned launches of space station modules and such simple-ish things where you need to keep the form factor.

What's wrong with the currently existing 1.25m and 2.5m flat disk probe cores? Are they not what you're looking for? They are pretty advanced and high in the tech tree, but their monetary cost isn't very high.

I think he's looking for something like a 1.25m/2.5m version of the OKTO at tier 6 rather than a super high-end thing with full SAS, integrated science collection and more powerful reaction wheels that doesn't show up until tier 8/9.
