Transmit Science Electric Charge requirments

When I try to transmit science I regularly need to flick  on infinite electricity to make it work and i have noticed that all the antennas have a very large electric charge consumption for example the Communotron 88-88 aka the big fold out golden antenna part of stock ksp uses 200 electric charge a second and even the smallest stock antenna the Communotron 16 uses 20 EC per second is their any way to change because I dont think that is how its supposed to be this btw I am not using remote tech or any other mod that specifically modify antennas but I may be wrong.

Yes, you need adequate batteries on your space craft to transmit larger chunks of data. If you find yourself running out before the transmission finishes, you may disable "require complete" in the context menu. It will resume the transmission rather than discarding the results.
