Pressing the launch button on the VAB seems to freeze the game

For starters; I installed these mods:

SSTU

Near Future Propulsion

Near Future Electrical

Near Future Solar

Planetary Base 

So pressing the launch button seems to freeze the game but can still highlight parts and view around the ship

Is this a 1.3 problem or should I just revert back to 1.2?
