It looks like the main engine failed a health check. This might be a major problem (need a new engine) or a minor one (bad wire connection, need to replace a wire).

EDIT: This is wrong. It was the solid rocket booster health check. It's looking like they might need a new booster (?).

We know for certain that launch cannot occur today, because the launch arms retracted and those require a pretty extensive procedure to reconnect.

So apparently the Vulcain-II main engine was fine, but one of the boosters failed a last-second check right before ignition.
