My KSP don't open after downloading

Like the other one, my KSP launcher also shows "Checking for Updates" so I can't launch it. Some comments suggest to launch KSP without a launcher. How was that made? Please give me instructions since it's my first time to download it, but I have played it before. Thanks!

If you can find the folder that your KSP was downloaded to, you will find the application in there that you can open directly without having to use the launcher.

I thought the launcher wasn't supported any more? (correct me if I'm wrong)

Just search for the folder you installed KSP in. I think it is C:\Program Files\Kerbal Space Program..., C:\Program Files (x86)\Kerbal Space Program\... or C:\Kerbal Space Program\...

1. The easiest way to find the folder is to right click on the shortcut of the launch, and click ' open file location'. This will get you to the install folder. 
2. There are few .exe files, KSP.exe if I'm right and KSP_64x.exe. I would recommend the 64bit one. 
3. Make a shortcut of the one you want to start, it is either the 32bit or the 64bit startup. 64bit is mostly required when you play with mods. 
4. Place the shortcut somewhere you like. 
5. Run the shortcut. 
6. ...?...
7. Profit.
