Solid rockets! we need more solid rockets!

So here I was minding my own business, when I figured a large solid rocket booster would run out of fuel almost exactly the same time as a single fuel tank with an aerospike engine. Combine the two and you have a convenient way dispose of drop tanks. So with the logic of "You know I think it needs just one more solid booster" the y3 was created!

It has enough fuel to land on the moon, then hop over to minimus, then make it back to kerbin.

Was that with my ship or one you made? I usually set the SAS and go full throttle. And don't touch it until the second stage of solid boosters are finished then ejected. You should be able to maneuver with the last set of solid boosters.
