Base disappearing from Tracking

Recommended Posts

I have an Orbital base around Minmus that has suddenly vanished from my tracking, besides a rectangular coloured marker. By cheating in a ship and blind maneuvering it close to the base, I'm still able to proximity swap to it, and after docking the ship to it, it still disappears after switching back to tracking. How to fix?

Cool. Now you have a lost orbital base you can try to re-discover. That's strange, but it actually sounds kinda fun to do.

You misunderstand, I know exactly where it is, and I already brought a ship there and docked to it to try and fix it. It's not that I can't find it, it's that it's not in tracking properly, so I can't go to it.

At the top of the Tracking Station window, you see a row of icons. At least one of them is black instead of white. Make them all white (by clicking on the darkened ones), and your base should appear.

The icons are filters for the type of things the tracking station will show. They help to unclutter a view with many things in space. Reversely, they also hide things when not selected.

And welcome to the KSP forum.

Perfect! That was the problem, thank you very much
