Eve Rover Mission

Hello

I want to send a rover to Eve my first one is crashed on Eve after the antenna broke from the reentry-forces, the parachutes are armed and get destroyed.

I only want to have a script for the landing, for the aerobrake it is very simple. Something like this:

 

if altitude <95000 then

retract antennas /solarpanels

else 

deploy antennas / solarpanels

I setup the aerobrake and run the antenna script

but for the landing i need to know, is it possible to check the parachute state (danger, ok ...) i want to test if the Vessel is in Eves atmosphere AND if the Parachute deployment is safe. RealChutes can be deployed and destroyed when the heat is too high or to much Force is applied.
