What solar panels parts are you guys using?

The parts pack is the Kosmos space station part pack..

Do you have a link? I've searched for it but nothing came up. All that showed up was the VA parts.

Some really nice designs in here. Looks like a contest for which station should be used in a movie. Thou Vostok yours has a certain je ne sais quoi, or maybe it was the accompanying music!

QUERY: How do I get the solar panels to work? I hover over them in the VAB and the description reads: "This part is not available in this version of KSP".

What version of KSP and mod are you using? I had the same issue with a different mod. I removed ALL previous parts and plugins and put the latest version back in. That seemed to solve it, can break some ships thou.

I've had a couple issues placing solar panels. In some cases you can only place them on other objects from the same pack. I've also found that they can cause major lag a) when you have loads of them in undeployed/deploying state when getting near complex ships.

I figured out what was wrong. I had forgotten to install the plugins to make it work. Thats why I edited the query out.

I made my own satellite, but it's a bit more complicated than most of yours... well not yet. The rest comes in my next video.

Basically I launched the main unit of a satellite and I will launch the second part in my next episode so subscribe if you want to see how my satellite hooks up!

But I am simply going to use landing legs to hitch on to my satellite, which I think means that I cannot warp faster than 2x with it though otherwise the two will uncouple.
