KSP 1.3.1. Game fails to complete loading - multiple fresh installs

Hello all,

Im looking for some help. I had a modded install that began crashing at the end of the initial loading screen at start up. So I deleted it completely. Using a .zip file from the KSP store, I installed a fresh, unmodded game. Now ths game crashes at the same point. Below is a dropbox link with relevant files:

Short quote from error file:

"KSP_x64.exe caused an Access Violation (0xc0000005)
  in module KSP_x64.exe at 0033:cb98fef6."

KSP 1.3.1.

Windows 10

ASUS Model GL552VW

i7-6700HQ @ 2.6GHz

8GB RAM

GTX960M

 

Ive deleted and installed repeatedly. Ive downloaded a new .zip file from the KSP store. Ive run CC cleaner and the Registry tool. None of that has helped.

I cannot play KSP.

Please let me know if any other info is needed! Im at a loss of what else to do.

You log is full of audio errors because the game has some problem with your sound driver. Older threads suggest that reinstalling your sound driver or using the generic windows driver should do the trick.
