Ksp application has no "gamedata" folder

Recommended Posts

So i have tried installing macjeb onto my macbook air and I couldn't find the "gamedata" folder to install my mods into.I've tried looking for about 2 hours prior to making this account. The kerbal space program logo is also not showing a kerbal and I'm wondering if that is related to this problem as well.

Further more when I open the KSP app and open the folder call "contents",there is two folders inside. When I open them,I found these two folders inside that launch it in steam. This is my fist computer since i'm starting high school.Maybe I just don't know how to download games off steam, something to do with school restrictions,or just a one time thing.

First thing to try...

Open Steam and Right Click on Kerbal Space Program.

Select Properties from the menu.

Select the Local Files tab from the dialog that appeared in the previous step.

Now click on Verify Integrity of Game Files.

This will check what has been installed and make sure everything installed correctly. You can do this for all games registered on Steam.

If that doesn't work, try uninstalling the game from the same menu then re-installing.

Did you install this while at school. if so, you may have run into some blocking software the school is running.
