red7paulbrennan
So let say Jeb needs to bail from his lander at the last second before it crashes into the mun how mush speed can his suit overcome? Maybe even the suits TWR.thanks
Cykyrios
If you're not coming at a deadly fast speed, you can hope your Kerbal will not die upon impact. The EVAPack is not supposed to be very powerful, and will probably be nerfed in the future.
vexx32
It's already too weak to work at all under Kerbin's gravity, and about right for the Mun's gravity.I wouldn't be bailing at the last second, though. They can't output that much thrust all at once. If possible, as soon as you realise it's going to crash, bail. Then, just apply thrust all the way down or until you've halted your fall, then just fall gently down.
samstarman5
Bailing is always an option. Never give up!

As it is now, it's so powerful that tapping the keys very briefly is almost too much for precise control.Well I guess that means no more orbiting Minmus from the surface, we'll have to do with Bop. spikeyhat09
I would generally avoid bailing... because if the capsule survives impact, your friend has infinite RCS pack fuel to entertain you while you wait for a rescue mission!
