Squelch7
It's another Apollo-Soyuz Test Project mission! This is somewhat less a historical replica and more a bit of Cold War comedy. There are a few surprises along the way--see if you can discover them. I hope you enjoy it! For extra immersion, grab the Apollo-Soyuz mission patch; drag the Flags folder within the mission to your GameData folder. Download from KerbalX Known issues: Spoiler - I had hoped to include a reference to the artificial Apollo eclipse from the real-life spaceflight, but ran into what I think is a bug with identifying crafts after they've undocked. - Currently play is a little too on-rails for my taste, but am interested in whether that's an issue for others. -To be added: detecting whether the KSC astronauts defected to Woomerang. Because cold war, y'know... (Note that I started and finished this mission before I played Lupi's excellent version. Both are worth playing!) Comments and constructive criticism are welcome. Same, actually. If you look at my mission file in the editor, you'll note that only one of the ships is tracked after docking. No matter what I do, my Soyuz craft loses tracking. I worked around this by having it the game look for any vessel, putting faith in the player not to go for a splashdown if they wanted bonus points, making the landing just a style-points deal. If that fails, the mission progresses through crew recovery.
