scansat problem

so when I installed scansat, I look at the map and I only see grey color on it, I may have installed it wrong or I might be missing something.

You've got to put a satellite in orbit to actual map it, silly! In the science tabs, there should be different types of mapping equipment for different jobs. Make sure to read there descriptions and other info carefully to figure out the optimal role and orbit.

Like he said you don't just auto get a map of planets and moons you have do scan the planets so the first thing you should do is make a probe with one of the 3 Scanners (also make sure to check there ideal orbit for them so you get the best scans) except the Been There Done That. Once launched go for a polar orbit so you can scan the entire planet then just do time warp. Hope I helped.

Ok, thx for the help, I might have forgotten to add a scanner but yet I will launch it.
