Suzaku
So recently I threw together this SSTO, and I thought this feature was really neat for Spaceplanes and figured it'd be a great thing to share with the community. And so I was wondering if anyone else has come up with this yet? Or am I the first one lol.Edit: Just found out some people made self-righting landers so a lot of ingenious players out there.Pretty cool but not as useful as this I'm sure. BillWiskins
That's a fancy party trick for sure. Very impressive.I was even more impressed to hear a bit of Nightwish backing the flight, though. Nice choice.
Grand Lander
Nice kerbal style landing
Suzaku
Lol, Re-entry was horrible, I had to throw the craft into an auto-rotating spin in order to kill velocity so I wouldn't overshoot KSC2. The thing usually re-enters straight as an arrow.
flaillomanz
God I love your launch system. Why didn't I think of that? Eh, if I try I just know I'll just end up with a capsized plane.

My arch-nemesis! A mad rocket scientist! WELL I'M A MAD SPACEPLANE SCIENTIST BWAAAAHHAAAhaAHh!I was trying to figure out a way to bend a rule for a challenge when I thought of this. It was also purely coincidental because one of the earlier versions of the craft landed on landing struts instead of wheels.
Arkasai
This was really cool, I'm inspired to create my next glider with a launch system like yours. I've been using launching clamps attached to the rocket section and setting it to a 45 degree angle, but it'd be neat if I could get something like yours working. bsalis
So recently I threw together this SSTO...You make it sound like it's all too easy! Why didn't you post which actually has the getting to orbit bit, not just sub-orbit.
