If Only We Had Taller Been

I just found out my family has the NASA channel. Needless to say, I've begun a very healthy addiction for that station. Especially since History/Dicovery Channels are all about Gold Mining or something to do with swamps/logging nowadays.

Regardless, NASA recently showed a video of a group of cool guys talking from way back when and one read off a poem. I thought it was Arthur Clarke at the time, but after digging I found out it was Ray Bradbury reading off "If Only We Had Taller Been" (with Arthur Clarke next to him. Oh and Carl Sagan is there too!)

That was brilliant. Sagan and Bradbury are sorely missed, and the world needs more people like them.

As of yesterday, both of them have spots for them on Mars - Bradbury Landing and Carl Sagan Memorial Station.
