Impossible to change resolution.

I'm having some real issues with Kerbal Space Program.

I just got a new PC, a really good one, and i can't wait to play some KSP, but after installing it fresh from steam on a new and updated windows, i can't seem to configure the game at all!

The game usually starts in windowed mode in some really low resolution, once i click on the Settings buttons, all the background music stops (why?) and then i go into Graphics to change the resolution, and, nothing, no matter how hard i press the buttons, the game simply wont let me change the resolution, nothing happens.

Is there anything i can do to fix this?

Windows 10
16 GB DDR4
Intel i7 8700k
GTX 1080 Ti

I know that problem, but I don't have a 'good' solution. It should be possible to change the resolution by pressing the button really, really often (like 10 times just to increase the resolution by one step). Another workaround would be to change the resolution in the launcher or direct in the settings.cfg (in line 127 & 128).

Wow! You we're right, all i had to do was click the button like a billion times, and now it works! Thank you.
