tom2018
Hello i would like to ask what the best recording software is, how much is it, whats the quality, and what are the limits to using it?I would prefer a free program but 10 - 15 dollars is ok.I would like to be able to record minecraft/ksp/tf2 for up to 15 minutesI have looked at fraps and am thinking about getting it, but i think there may be a better program.I have a good computer 6gb of Ram and I am running 32bit.I would also like to know a good editing software! Thanks! MrMadGameplay
I think Fraps is your best bet but It is really just down to personal preference so you should test the trial versions and see which you prefer
Ninja Derpify
In my experience Dxtory is quite a bit better than fraps.Multiple audio channels, different codec settings and generally less of a performance hit.Plus you can use it with xsplit if you ever want to livestream. Lot's of youtubers and livestreamers are using it now.http://dxtory.com/v2-home-en.html
internerd
I agree, DXtory is easily the best. It gets better performance than Fraps and can record in more formats, making it much more versatile.
segaprophet
The absolute best way to do it is with a capture card like this.
tom2018
Dxtory works great thanks
Ciechosz
Dxtory is good, but the lowest framerate drop I experienced with MSI Afterburner. The video quality is very good and despite its name it doesn't require MSI video card. Suzaku
I use fraps myself, but it has slight lag spots during the joint parts of the videos.
