Skipping in Rythmbox media player.

Well I recently Dual booted Windows XP Pro and ubuntu 12.04. Rhythmbox media player skips everytime I download something the player skips the track. Any ways to do this? The files are MP3 so I needed to get a plugin. Oh and incase your wondering I use firefox for downloads.

I believe the problem is to do with the MP3 codec, make sure you have this codec. If the problem persists, try playing other file types.

Got the codecs still an issue. It only happens while typing/ not moving cursor. I switched to miro, due to it having amazon intergrated. Ubuntu actually stinks at saving battery life, though but I like the interface better than windows XPs.
