CKAN Problems for steam install?

Anyone having problems with the CKAN & steam version? Any remedies on how to troubleshoot? I insist using still using CKAN any help would be appreciated.

It just has command lines for me then closes quickly even after a steam fresh install.

Do you use the latest version of CKAN and get an error message in the command line? Maybe something like this?

If the answer to these question is yes, I would suggest to revert to the previous Broglio release and wait für the CKAN folks to update the client, looks like they are already working on it.

I downloaded it but it again said CKAN is already running in instance.

You should be able to fix it in the window where you have to choose a KSP install. 'Forget' the entry of the install you want to use CKAN for and add it again (you have to browse to the BuildID.txt of this install)

Issue sorted. But why do all the comparable mods from old versions don't work like the real useful ones?

Older versions have different modules and .cfg settings that current ksp does not use.
