I disagree. Maybe the, "father," was giving parental care. It was early job training. All that bird is going to do the rest of his life appears to be kicking leaves. Maybe it was all the training he needs for his long lived life. If it was a female it's imprinting to know what to look for in a good male. 8) Female: "I look for good man turkey that kick me in face with leaves like father turkey!" Which wasn't her father and she looks the world over looking for the apparent lack of similarity to that father bird. This leaves us with a chicken or egg situation. Was it the mother or father that started this trend?!
