Landing struts not adjustable

I want to adjust spring strength and damping on my landing struts, but when I right-click, the box does not have those options.  I have researched Advanced Landing. I am running the base KSP, no mods.

Should I be able to adjust those parameters on the LT-1 and LT-2 landing struts?  Thanks for any help.

Welcome to the forums.

Which version of the game are you running? Do you have "Advanced Tweakables" turned on in the settings? Are you trying to change the settings while you are in Flight mode, or is this in the Editor while you are building a ship?

If you have Advanced Tweakables turned on, there should be a button called "Spring/Damper:" that says "Auto". You have to click that to change it to Manual before you can adjust the settings yourself.

Go into the settings menu and switch "advanced tweakables" on.

Thank you, Bewing and Dunatian.  I figured it was something simple, but I had never even opened Settings.  By the way, how do I attach a picture or screenshot to a post?

The recommendation is to upload your picture or screenshot to an image host like Imgur, and then copy/paste the direct image URL into the post.

If you have done this correctly, the forums software should automatically display the image in your post.
