Starship Destiny

Okay i want to see someone recreate the Starship Destiny from Stargate Universe. Make i as close to the actual thing as possible.

Rules

mod may be used to get into space

Only stock parts once in space

use wings for hull and lift

make it as big as possible without it falling apart

Once in orbit travel close to the sun and back to Kerbin

show how you did it like what files you changed and to how they were changed and mods that where used

pictures and or video or it didn't happen

and possibly a download link for the ship itself.

extras

adding the shuttle and making the shuttle able to land anywhere with wheel landing gears

making the shuttle and starship two different ships and making them dock somehow

landing it all in one piece the main ship that is

when 0.17 comes out do a planetary grand tour of the kerbin star system

flinging that mother of a ship in to deep space (out of gravitational pull of the sun)

or you can make a seed ship

if you do this you will earn the title of Master Kerbal Engineer.

wow, if someone built the destiny it'd also be the biggest craft ever made in ksp.

How are we supposed to build THAT with stock parts?! And how are we supposed to take off with that many parts?!

A question, does anyone reading this perhaps have a government server with a PhysX that actually runs multi-threaded? If you do, could I borrow it to build a massive ship?

A computer that could actually run the number of parts you are suggesting would be even more helpful. (Are there any that exist?)

I doubt it Steevy, since Unity is singlethreaded. Maybe if the development team could somehow 'upgrade' it to be multi-threaded? Then perhaps a server room could run it, but it'd probably still lag from the length of the wire!

Things are moving slow atm because i've got so much going on in real life but they will pick up again when i have the time
