KSP Not Opening.

Hello! First off, I'm new here. Sorry if I make any mistakes.

I launched KSP as I usually do through steam but this time it didn't launch. It did open showing up in the taskbar but no window. It'd be great if someone could share me a way to resolve this issue. Thanks!

Welcome to the forum

We will need a few more informations to help you:

• Operating system?
• Updated anything recently? (KSP, driver,...)
• Does the game creates a log file anyway and if so, can you upload it?

If you don't know where to find the log, take a look into this thread:

 

It contains a list for all log file locations for every operating system.

- No, I didn't update anything on my PC.

Hm....unfortunately, the log doesn't contain anything useful, it stops before the interesting part begins.

Just to be sure: The game was running before on the same machine and stoped working?

Most times, the log can point in the direction of the issue but in this case, I have honestly no idea right now, sry. Probably try a clean reinstall:

• create a backup of your savegame (C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Kerbal Space Program\saves)
• uninstall the game through steam
• delete the remaining files from the install directory manually
• install through steam
