Massive lag in Dark Multiplayer

I'm getting some massive lag when playing in DMP servers. I checked my log and those two lines absolutely pumped up my log file to 13MB. The sound in the game isn't lagging but I am getting maybe one frame every 10 seconds or so. My graphics card is totally calm and not under any load at all while KPS is hogging up one CPU thread to 100%.
