Touching a sky of darkness - Kerb's adventures in 3.2x scale kerbin

Recommended Posts

after 64 days of assembly it was ready, the Kerbal Launcher Systems Alice 1 rocket.  1 year of planning, programming and testing. 9 days of sitting on the pad. 10 more minutes to go. Tensions all over the world rising and holding its breath. A lot can go right. A lot can go wrong.  The first launch is always special yet scary.

T-60 seconds the world watched as this small rocket was about to lift off in a roar of fire and flame.

T-3 seconds engine starting up as normal, with increasing thrust each second that goes by.

T-1 second, full thrust vehicle checking for failures for an automatic scrub if required.

T-0 seconds, lift off, clamps release nominal!

T+1 second, Engine shut down Guidance program failure.
