‘Link’ button in KAS/KIS not appearing?

You know how in KAS/KIS when you set up two pipe endpoints you can right click one of them if you’re close enough and link them together? Well, it’s not working for me. The ‘link’ button simply doesn’t appear. Photos below: 

 

 

 

Any ideas?

I’m hoping the legacy ports (in Util I think) still work, because the resource transfer hose reel is horrifyingly ugly.
