Game Unplayable, please send a recovery craft!

Alright so, decided to give Luna Multiplayer a test run.  Got a few friends and setup a server on KSP 1.7 on campaign mode.  Decided to use a very modest list of mods, as follows:

  • [x] Science!
  • Atmosphere Autopilot
  • AutoAGL
  • Automated Science Sampler
  • Critical Temperature Gauge
  • Earn Your Stripes
  • MechJeb2
  • RemoteTech
  • and of course Luna Multiplayer - latest overnight build as of about a week ago

At first, everything ran fine.  Flew some spaceplanes.  Launched some rockets.  Started grinding out some science.  Struggled to get a spaceplane above 13k-15k without FAR installed and using low science tech.  Started taking contracts that required visiting the mun...  and this is where things went all wrong.  Out of nowhere while testing a new spaceplane and flying over the ocean at the end of the runway, suddenly my graphics spazzed.  Like all the polygons on some models and parts of the terrain, flashed in and out, while the physics glitched out and vibrated the whole craft.  At first I thought my graphics card was overheating and it was some strange form of artefacting, so I immediately pulled my emergency chutes and floated towards the water while checking my card temps.  Card was hot but not overheating, so went back to the game.  Still vibrating and glitching.  Upon touching the water at like... idk, 6m/s, hard enough to break the plane probably...  it violently detonated and even sent multiple parts of the plane flying out of the solar system.

Thinking this was probably just a strange fluke, I restarted KSP and did some more testing.  More weird things started happening.  Like my plane/rocket will teleport 20k underground, or 60k up into space, often breaking some or all of the craft in the process.  I've also had the weird graphic glitch happen 2 more times since then too.  I've also noticed that when this starts happening, if there are other players in the vicinity of the player being affected, it affects their craft too.  As an example off the top of my head, I went to test a new spaceplane design, and a buddy had a plane taxiing in the grass next to the runway.  As I was taking off, suddenly his plane teleported about 2k into the sky above the runway.  We laughed it off and he recovered albeit with some speed and took off over the ocean, so I gave chase.  I was starting to catch up when suddenly the entire side blows off his plane for no reason.  I start laughing because I watched the whole thing happen from about 1k away, then suddenly 2 engines on my right wing blow off too.  Then after a moment, I teleport underground stuck.

At first I thought maybe only certain vehicles or certain parts did it.  But I tested a buddy's plane that he's able to fly solo without problem (he left one on the runway for me to fly) and it did the same thing.  So that confirms that whatever the problem is, it's not part related, and it affects me more than anyone else on the server.  Has anyone else experienced any of this?  I'm kinda sorta assuming this must be a problem with Luna Multiplayer, or maybe an incompatibility with one of the mods that took a while to rear it's head, but I really don't know, as a friend mentioned KSP kinda acting like this for his old computer some years back.  Have any advice?  I have some screenshots of the glitches, but I'm unsure how to post them.
