Mun's a planet?

. . . I've been noticing that a lot of people are calling the Mun a planet.

So I find this odd, especially after some international naming committe spent a lot of time telling us Pluto was no longer a planet.

So, what's up with that?

I think that's what he meant.. Anyways muns a moon not a planet.

I don't think I've ever seen anyone refer to the Mun as a planet on these boards. Have any examples?
