0.16 VTOL (damned robotics)

Hello everybody

sorry for the bad english

the VTOL i want to share is something i made my self

this is the mk 1 with rocket engines but it doesnt fly very far and isnt balanced in weight( i mean you have to rotate the engines a bit forward to not spin when taking off and if flying forward they have to be aimed a bit backwards )

here is a picture of it when i landed in the sea after running out of fuel:

so after that is started thinking about better more fuel efficient engines so i used less powerful rocket engines and then came to the stage of jet engines so i took some ram intakes and some turbo engines and put them on and then i stated thinking of improving the aerodynamics a bit to and i also took of the lander legs so make it lighter but its still got the same balancing problem which i am trying to fix now

to take of you have to angel the egines a bit forward like on this picture :

to go forward faster and get less up speed angel the engines forward turn the asas off and change your green thingy on the nav ball in the blue zone and turn the asas back on .

i sugest downloading all of them the dowload attachment are under the last phote you just have to click on the names of the one you want but plz download the read this to i added that to help you and with the mods that are required and so on just click on one of them and you schould start downloading it but maby your not allowd to yet and have to post 5+ posts on threads i had that to

hello evrybody

today i have been working on a VTOL aigan bit simular to the and i found somme new things witch where handy and i will use one future VTOL s i dident make screenshots but i wil post them if i realese this one but there is a simular problem with it the problem is that the back is to heavy but if 0.17 update will be released i wont have simmular problems becuasthre will be a cent of weith inducation so i wil know if i am building it where it needs to be edited so i think i will realeas another VTOL in 0.16 anybody who want to ask me somthing like : i would like that your nexst VTOL has ... (for example rocket engines . only stock parts. 4 egines .... and so on ) and i try to make it like you want it

i sayd i wil try so dont come and say you dident add that the reason will probebly be becuas i cant do that or it wont fly then or it was to hard to make then etc

i am now working togeter with Sbowyer28 the person form Voyager Labs Aeronautics and Space Administration so you might expect to see somme my VTOL s or spaceplanes there currently i have a protype space plane it isnt finished yet now i am just waiting a bit to know what he/she actualy says about the space plane

so more news coming later btw the request i did for ideas is still on i mean with that ideas are welcome just pm me them

FPS mixed with my complete idiocy with fine-tuning things while under Kerban influence.. yeah.

LOVE the concept, though. Great use of Robotics. I'd love to see more things on the Exchange use Damned Robotics.

well i am helping with the guy of voyager labs now you might see somme of my space planes there and iv been thinking about a plane with the wings that can flap backwardsif it needs more speed and turn them outwards for gliding but my current proyet is a spaceplane is going pretty good and its almost finished i might upload do a fast build to make a spaceplane with the changing wings and create a new thread about it or maby post it on this one
