From the Mun toturial missing infomation - keep exploding

I can't get past the "From the Mun" tranning scenario. When I try to re-enter, as soon as I reach the 12 Km mark, the only information that follows up is something about when to use parachutes. However, I keep exploding from overheating way before ever reaching that point. There is no promt telling me when to detacht my thruster, and no explaintion of how a heat shield works. For whatever reason, my game seems to be skipping that part.

There is something wrong with the scenario; it skips those instructions for me as well.
You seem to know what was missing --- before reaching the atmosphere at 70km, stage to detach the engine and fuel tank. 

The missing instructions, from the translations file :
"autoLOC_316388 = Just like I've taught you before, orient retrograde and stabilize, then turn SAS off, then decouple your last stage, and you'll be ready for re-entry.\n\n Do that quickly, because you're descending fast!"
