Hi there :)

Yesterday, I went for a little exploration mission on Laythe and noticed that the shores of islands close to the poles look very odd and apparently, it's the same on Kerbin (also, just close to the poles / in the polar biomes).

A few pictures so you know what I'm talking about:

I wonder if this is some kind of a bug or the intended look?
(These are fresh stock installs)
