Horizontal single-rotor helicopter speed record.

Using either stock or DLC parts (Breaking Ground comes to mind) build a helicopter and go as fast as possible in roughly level flight.

I'll start with a fairly slow record of 44.9 m/s using the my first ever cyclic pitch swashplate Helicopter. It uses Breaking Ground and Making History.

Hmmmmmm... if it can VTOL on the rotor.

@Pds314 I know this is an old post but you'll extract more speed out of your helicopters with a properly articulated rotor system. Just to clarify, I'm not talking about swashplates. By articulated, I mean a helicopter that compensates asymmetric lift using: feathering, flapping and hunting.
