Touched the craft on EVA and it gained like 600dv

Was on EVA to grab the gravity experiment and I guess the Kerbal touched the craft and it disappeared immediately. I checked the map and it was totally off course. Luckily I had enough gas to capture to the mun Outpost then scoop up the Kerbal, but that was a bug.

Sounds like some sort of physics bug, chalk it up to the Kraken. If you have any finer details or can reproduce it, it'd probably help the devs fix it a lot quicker.

 

Don't forget to Quicksave often to prevent stuff like that from messing up a mission!
