Goo experiment spamming reports

I left a goo experiment on the Mun to transmit science back to Kerbin. A message appears way too often to say that 0.008 science has been sent, it is really quite wearing, is there a way to  disable these messages ?

I haven't tried it yet myself, but this mod purports to reduce the spam to 1 message per day.  There does not appear to be an option to reduce these notifications in the stock game.
