Mission Objective:

Place a Millitary Prototype GPS Satellite in a Medium Kearth Orbit, then return to base (or as close as possible).

Ignition

Altitude. 5680

Velocity: 144,9 m/S

Liquid Fueled Medium Boosters jettisoned at approximately 75 km height, and main engine is ignited.

Bill and Bob Kerman was now having second thoughts about this mission.

Exo-atmospheric maneuvring is engaged. Target altitude is 350 km.

It proved impossible to achieve orbit at the wanted altitude, Bill Kerman overshot by 100 km.

However, an elliptic orbit was now established (apogee: 436 km, perigee 206 km).

Objective (nearly) complete.

Satallite released into orbit.

After the immediate release of the satellite Bob and Bill requested permission for atmospheric reentry, however, Jebediah Kerman overruled his crewmates and insisted on keeping an eye on the satellite, to ensure the stability of its orbit.

10 minutes later Kerbal Spece Center confirmed that the orbit was stable, and cleared the crew for reentry.

Crewmember Bill Kerman initiated reentryburn, however a slight glitch in the math done by the engineers left our poor kerbonauts with an insufficient amount of fuel, making it impossible to achieve orbital escape velocity, and therfore throwing the commandpod into a hyperbolic trajectory.

After being slingshot around the planet the crew is now travelling towards infinity.

Contact with the crew was lost, but the commandopod was still transmitting.

Now the politicans decided to take advantage of the situation and let the pod coast on its own, but still have the channels open. Who knows what might be out there?
