Wait... even on Sunday, how in the world were you able to catch a relaxed afternoon in Paris?!

Depends on what you need to be relaxed. But those days, with all the strikes going on, you can have some coffee and beer with fellow unions in the street of Paris, enjoying it without cars, commuters, or tourists. You need to like your coffee peppertear gazed though. But I do not really mind that, it adds some weird flavor to it (besides, after a protest, everything you're going to drink or eat will taste like tear gas). It's also where I had the most expensive espresso I ever paid for (6euros, near Opera. Event for paris it's loveing expensive (and espresso is supposed to be anywhere between 1 and 2 euros here, and even the 2 euros one are way to expensive).

And well, Paris in sunday morning is always fun, if you stay out of the brunches. The city is having a massive hangover, and everything seems slow. And you can have a good coffee at a café, without being rushed. As long as you stay out of the rourists trap (which requires some knowledge). Also, we have kind of a monopoly of one coffee distributor (Café Richard) and they do nt know how to roast coffee. So basically, except if you're going to a third wave coffee shop, you'll have a less than average espresso. But it will kick your ass out of sleep quite efficiently.

From a coffee point of view though, I take my coffee the way I take crack cocain. Whatever it is, I need it, and I'll drink it. No sugar or anything else in it. If I get to choose one, I'll go for the south american ones, they taste nice with nice nuts flavoured touch. But then again, I did eat raw instant coffee once or twice (it's going to be awfull anyway, why waste water on it?).
