Not very long really. I wrote the song in a few hours. Had it mixed and EQ'ed after about 4 hours. Then the video was easy. Probably in total a 7 hr project.

Actually it's about the harddrive. i've got a SSD for my birthday since then my KSP runs like usain Bolt^^

btw my graphics card is a gtx 460 768mb

I'm not sure exactly what is making KSP run so clean from me. My CPU is ok at I5 2600K. And I'm also running a SSD OCZ Vortex 3.

Hmmm, that is next on my list, although I don't see how it change anything other than loading stuff up slightly faster. Go build a craft with a lot of struts and see if it still runs fast. And out of curiosity, what cpu do you have?

Yea. I have to agree. Probably more to do with CPU and Video. Maybe Ram too.

It uses a pitiful amount of gpu power, peaks at 36% on my 560 with every single anti aliasing option maxed in the nv control panel, full a.f., everything maxed at 1080res, it's all cpu thanks to the cpu only physx implementation in the unity engine.

Wow I didn't realize it was not able to utilize the the physx on the video card. Though because I was not having performance problems I didn't pay that close of attention to it.
